Sandy (Dye, Wheeler, Poli, Thompson) Haines is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certified bookkeeper and the founder of Cornerstone Bookkeeping Now, where she helps both small and larger businesses maintain accurate financial records. With extensive experience in accounting, Sandy has worked in diverse roles, including full-charge bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and senior accounting positions for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She is skilled in QuickBooks, Excel, and various accounting software, and she excels at reconciling accounts, managing data, and training others to improve their bookkeeping processes.
Beyond her professional work, Sandy is deeply committed to her faith and community. She serves at The River Church in multiple capacities, assisting in back-office operations, coordinating outreach programs, leading small groups, and supporting Audio-Visual needs during services. She also pursues her degree in Theology at River Impact University, reflecting her dedication to personal growth and service.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to starting my own bookkeeping business, building on years of experience in startups, multi-million-dollar dealerships, multi-million-dollar non-profit and continuing to grow my skills while pursuing my associate degree in Biblical Studies.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to “start now, however you want to finish.” "If you compromise in the beginning, you'll compromise later on."
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't give up! Allow your passion to help other's businesses thrive be the forefront.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are my faith, my family, and staying connected to the outdoors—I love spending time with my kids and grandkids, enjoying our 8 acres of land, line dancing, and being actively involved in my church.
