Ten minutes with Savannah Jo

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to recognizing and honoring my gifts while remaining committed to fulfilling my purpose. By staying aligned with my values, personal truths, and aspirations, I have been able to make intentional decisions that reflect who I am and the impact I hope to create. I believe our dreams are given to us with purpose, and by listening to those inner callings and pursuing them with dedication, authenticity, and perseverance, we can create meaningful success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is the importance of maintaining confidentiality and building lasting relationships based on trust and respect. Strong professional relationships are invaluable, and I have learned that the connections created with clients should always be nurtured and appreciated. By honoring commitments, protecting confidentiality, and never taking relationships for granted, I have been able to build a foundation of trust that supports long-term success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to first understand who they are at their core and embrace their individuality. Rather than trying to replicate the paths or styles of others, focus on developing your own strengths, confidence, and authentic voice. Show up fully as yourself, and when challenges arise that prevent you from stepping into your confidence, take the time to address and overcome them. By doing so, you allow yourself to bring your unique talents, perspective, and gifts to the world.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunities in my field right now are the ability to connect with influential leaders involved in commercial development, business growth, and land development while contributing to projects that positively shape the future of the city and its communities. Through nonprofit initiatives, professional networks, and collaborative work groups, I have the opportunity to help create meaningful change both professionally and socially. I also see a unique opportunity to support businesses by strengthening their digital presence while bringing positive energy, authentic connections, and community-focused impact to the work happening offline.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in my work and personal life are authenticity, self-awareness, and recognizing the unique gifts and talents that each person brings to the world. I believe everyone has valuable strengths and abilities, and true fulfillment comes from finding the environments and opportunities where those natural gifts are appreciated and can make a meaningful impact. By embracing individuality and using our talents with purpose, we can contribute our best selves to the people and communities around us.
