Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my willingness to fail. I am constantly reaching for things outside of my comfort zone to challenge me in new ways, both personally and professionally.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to "trust your gut." Each company has its own advantages and challenges, but do not let others cloud what your gut is telling you.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to network actively.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Servicing a primarily male-dominated industry (manufacturing) can be challenging. It can be frustrating to require earning trust from the people around you instead of inherently having that trust like I have seen with some of my male counterparts.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are making an impact and being acutely aware of mental health in the workplace and at home.
