Q

What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from embracing growth opportunities, staying curious, and building strong relationships. I’ve learned that progress accelerates when you seek feedback, collaborate intentionally, and take ownership of your development, even when the path feels uncomfortable.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Take ownership of your career, no one else will do it for you. Seek out challenges, ask for feedback, and don’t wait to feel ready before stepping into the next opportunity.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Seek out stretch assignments early and often, even when you don’t feel fully ready. Growth comes from doing hard things before you feel confident. At the same time, advocate for yourself, make your goals visible, ask for opportunities, and don’t assume your work will speak for itself.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in engineering today is keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology while still delivering reliable, high-quality products at scale. At the same time, this creates a major opportunity, teams that invest in strong fundamentals, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and continuous learning are best positioned to innovate responsibly and lead meaningful change.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value continuous learning, and empowering others. Acting with purpose, embracing challenges, and fostering growth, both in myself and those around me, defines how I lead and live.
