Shanna Khan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shanna Collective, a bespoke enterprise recognized for advancing innovative design and development across custom and multi-family residential, commercial, aviation and marine, luxury goods, and hospitality sectors. Beginning her career in student housing, Shanna has worked every position in the industry and worked her way up from entry-level roles to executive leadership. She earned her CAM (Community Association Manager) license in October 2025, a milestone that underscores her expertise and commitment to excellence. Known for her supportive leadership style and open-door policy, Shanna takes a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground approach, guiding her teams with both strategic vision and practical experience.

Shanna has led numerous transformative projects, including the landmark Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Shipyards, while overseeing national developments such as 919 West Fulton in Chicago and Broadway Chapter in Fort Worth, Texas. Her work also spans luxury hospitality, including The Resort at Urbana Country Club and the complete renovation of its historic Tom Bendelow-designed golf course. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shanna is dedicated to philanthropy, actively supporting toy drives, food drives, and back-to-school backpack initiatives for children, reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community.

Outside of her professional life, Shanna is a devoted mother to two children and embraces her role as a soccer mom. She maintains a passion for health and fitness and enjoys creating nutritious meals from scratch as a trained chef. Through her combination of professional expertise, hands-on leadership, community involvement, and dedication to family and wellness, Shanna exemplifies a balanced and purpose-driven approach to both work and life.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that it’s always okay to ask questions, as long as you take the time to remember the answers and learn from them. This approach fosters growth, builds knowledge, and demonstrates both curiosity and accountability in any professional setting.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to take risks and pursue what you truly want without hesitation. Believe in your abilities, stay focused on your goals, and don’t let fear or doubt hold you back.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I currently face in my field is maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While the demands of the industry are significant, I view this challenge as an opportunity to develop stronger time management skills, set boundaries, and prioritize both professional success and personal well-being.
