Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the incredible CEOs and healthcare leaders I’ve had the privilege of working with throughout my career, particularly those who trusted me with strategic responsibilities and encouraged me to grow, often in spaces where I was the only woman in the room. I also credit my curiosity, my focus on building strong relationships, and my ability to view change not as a disruption, but as an opportunity, as key drivers of my professional growth.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace networking, invest in your personal brand, and nurture strong relationships throughout your career. The healthcare landscape is evolving rapidly—with AI, changing hospital economics, and new regulatory demands—and I’ve found that those who remain adaptable, stay visible, and confidently leverage their expertise are the ones best positioned to drive meaningful change.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I see in bringing Ivy Ensure’s specialized product to market is identifying the right healthcare decision-makers and helping them understand the value of home-infusion oversight for chronically ill patients. Another challenge is the rapid rise of AI in sales and customer engagement, which can create uncertainty around maintaining personal, trusted relationships in an increasingly tech-driven world. At the same time, I see a tremendous opportunity in education—helping health systems recognize the long-term benefits of proper infusion management, including improved patient safety, adherence, and cost savings.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my professional and personal life are integrity, authenticity, and commitment. I strive to show up fully for people, maintain trust, and lead with honesty, even when facing challenges. In my personal life, I deeply value family, simplicity, and the grounding nature of rural living. Spending time gardening and caring for my six grandchildren—who live across different regions—keeps me centered and reminds me why I work so hard: to improve community health and help create a stronger future for the next generation.
