Her Interview

Ten minutes with Shannon

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to hard work, consistency, and staying committed to my goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to never give up. Even when things feel difficult and I’m close to giving up, I remind myself to keep going because breakthroughs often come when I’m almost there.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to stay true to themselves and never compromise their self-respect or values. Work hard, take opportunities, and confidently pursue what you want, especially in today’s digital age where the possibilities are wide open.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Creating something original is tough if you don't know the ropes. Don't rush or jump the gun with ideas - let them marinate or others might take them.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Respect goes a long way. You can't have one without the other. Being thankful.
