About Sharonda
She is a dedicated educational leader with over two decades of experience in K-12 education, currently serving as Elementary Principal at Bartlett City Schools, where she has led school operations, instructional strategy, and community engagement since 2019. Prior to this role, she served as Assistant Principal at Lakeland School System and as Student Services leader at Bartlett City Schools. Her career in education includes over 11 years as a teacher at Memphis-Shelby County Schools, where she taught at Bon Lin Middle School and Germanshire Elementary School, building a strong foundation in instructional practice and student development. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Tennessee State University and a degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Bethel University of Tennessee. She is recognized as a visionary, student-centered, and equity-driven leader who is deeply committed to fostering academic excellence, teacher development, and inclusive school environments where every student can thrive.
