One of my most formative leadership experiences came during a period of intense personal and professional crisis. As a single mother of three young children, I was simultaneously continuing my education and building a career. With limited resources and no safety net, I had to lead decisively under pressure—first for my family, and later within my professional roles.

My approach was grounded in structure, prioritization, and long-term thinking. I focused on stabilizing immediate needs, creating clear systems for time and financial management, and making disciplined decisions aligned with long-term impact rather than short-term relief.

As I transitioned into leadership roles in real estate and eventually brokerage ownership, I applied these same principles during periods of market uncertainty—leading with transparency, adaptability, and a service-driven mindset to support both clients and agents through change.

The outcomes were measurable and lasting. I completed my graduate education, built a successful real estate career, opened and sustained my own brokerage, and expanded my professional capacity to better serve others. Most importantly, I learned that effective leadership in crisis requires calm, consistency, and the ability to move forward with purpose—even when conditions are uncertain.
