The best career advice I ever received came from a mentor who told me that I could be an example for young women entering the field. Their guidance inspired me to lead with integrity, confidence, and dedication, while also supporting and mentoring others. I strive to demonstrate through my work and actions that it is possible to succeed in a challenging industry while uplifting those who follow.

My advice to young women entering this industry is not to be intimidated or discouraged. Stay confident, remain persistent, and stick with it. By embracing challenges, continuously learning, and trusting your abilities, you can succeed and make a meaningful impact in a field that values skill, dedication, and integrity.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is managing multiple facilities and ensuring fire safety across all of them simultaneously. At the same time, this presents an opportunity to develop stronger organizational, project management, and strategic planning skills. Successfully overseeing multiple buildings allows me to implement best practices consistently, enhance safety standards, and contribute to more efficient and effective fire protection systems.
