About Sheri
Sheri Stewart is a dedicated litigation attorney known for her thoughtful advocacy and ability to guide clients through complex legal challenges. With over a decade of professional experience, including seven years practicing law, she represents clients in employment and commercial litigation matters on both the plaintiff and defense sides. Her work spans cases involving discrimination, whistleblower claims, and violations under the Minnesota Human Rights Act. Sheri is highly skilled in drafting motions for injunctive relief, dismissal, and summary judgment, and she brings confidence and precision to both courtroom proceedings and arbitration.
In addition to her litigation practice, Sheri has intentionally expanded her work into estate planning, helping clients prepare wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and trusts. She also assists with probate and trust administration, offering a more balanced and sustainable approach to her legal career. By blending the fast-paced demands of litigation with the long-term planning focus of estate law, Sheri has created a practice that allows her to continue doing meaningful work while maintaining balance in her personal and professional life.
Before entering the legal field, Sheri worked at NBCUniversal as a sourcing manager, where she negotiated high-value supplier contracts, building a strong foundation in business and negotiation. She remains deeply committed to service, volunteering her time to support first responders, low-income families, and survivors of domestic violence through organizations such as Wills for Heroes and Volunteer Lawyers Network. At her core, Sheri is a problem solver and connector, driven by the reward of helping clients find clarity, relief, and trusted guidance during some of the most challenging moments in their lives.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would definitely say for young women who are starting out in their careers that they have to have a vision of who they want to be in this world. You have to create a mold and a structure of how you want your life to be, because if you don't have that vision, there's gonna be people that are gonna chip away at who you are. Once you continue to remind yourself of what you want, it's easier for you to be able to cut out the noise. It's unrealistic to think we'll go through life and we'll have all these people supporting you. They don't want you to succeed as much as you want to succeed, and I know that's a hard thing to say out loud, because generally people are good people. But there's something that has to be said about that inner confidence and reminder that needs to happen, because you can get distracted very easily. And I think it's even more so now with social media - everyone's saying I'm an influencer, everyone's a self-made expert. That's why that inner vision is so important. You need to set parameters for yourself - whether you want to have kids or not, get married or not, be a CEO or not. When you have decisions that you have to make, you say, how does this level set with what I thought I wanted? You're always then doing that internal analysis, and that's why I think that's so helpful - staying true to that will give you a nice litmus test when something doesn't smell or sound right. You have a foundation to go back to.
