Sheridan Harris
Sheridan Harris is an accomplished marketing professional, community advocate, and youth mentor based in Memphis, Tennessee. She serves as the Marketing Manager at Pediatric Dental Care of Memphis, where she leads strategic communications and marketing initiatives designed to educate the community about dental health, reduce anxiety around dental care, and ensure patients feel safe and supported. With a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University, Sheridan brings a relational leadership style to her work, fostering an environment where every team member feels seen, heard, and empowered to contribute. She is particularly proud of developing diversified communications and outreach strategies for Memphis’ Latino community, including establishing Spanish-language resources, hiring translators, and bringing Spanish-speaking dentists onto staff to better serve the community.
Sheridan’s professional journey has been shaped by resilience, purpose, and a deep commitment to community. In 2023, she experienced a serious crash that required her to modify her career path. This life-changing event inspired her to become a passionate advocate for public safety, supporting initiatives such as Street Fair Memphis to protect pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. In addition to her marketing work, Sheridan actively engages with schools, museums, and community events to educate children and families about dental prevention and oral health. She also dedicates her time to youth athletics, coaching a first-grade boys’ basketball team, and participates in youth ministry and mentorship programs, helping guide and inspire the next generation.
Beyond her professional and community commitments, Sheridan values family, wellness, and personal growth. She enjoys gardening with her children, taking long walks with her rescue dog Rosie, and traveling to explore new places and experiences. Through her work and personal life, Sheridan consistently demonstrates a commitment to building healthier, safer, and more inclusive communities, combining strategic expertise, compassionate leadership, and hands-on engagement to create meaningful impact.

I attribute my success to the innate grit and determination that have always driven me. From the very beginning, this unwavering perseverance has fueled my commitment to achieving goals, overcoming challenges, and consistently striving for excellence in every endeavor.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is simple yet powerful: go for it. Taking bold, decisive action and embracing opportunities without hesitation has been instrumental in advancing my career and unlocking new possibilities.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is that it’s never too late to make a change. Stay patient and persistent, seek the right opportunities, and never settle for less than what aligns with your goals and values.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values I hold most important in both my work and personal life are honesty and directness, balanced with a sense of joy and grace, even in challenging situations. I strive to communicate openly while maintaining compassion and composure under pressure.
