Shubhada Zunjarwad is a creative entrepreneur, artist, and Founder and Creative Director of ANFS Studio, an inclusive art and wellness space based in Sunnyvale, California. After a successful 22-year career in the technology industry as a software engineer and technical product leader, she followed her passion for creativity and community by building a space where art, connection, and joy come together. Her transition from product strategy to creative entrepreneurship reflects her belief in creating meaningful experiences that inspire self-expression and belonging.
Before founding ANFS Studio, Shubhada held senior product management roles at leading technology organizations, including Microsoft and Starbucks, where she led product innovation, cross-functional teams, and large-scale technology initiatives. Her background in product design, user experience, and strategic execution continues to influence her approach to building engaging art programs. She combines her technical expertise with her passion for visual storytelling, creating thoughtfully designed workshops and classes for children, teenagers, adults, and seniors.
At ANFS Studio, Shubhada leads creative experiences centered on painting, pencil sketching, and collaborative art workshops that encourage confidence, mindfulness, and connection. She has built a thriving artistic community through classes, themed events, partnerships with local artists, and community programs such as workshops at the Sunnyvale Public Library. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the combination of discipline, creativity, resilience, and a commitment to empowering others. My experience in the tech industry taught me the value of continuous learning and building strong foundations, while my transition into the arts allowed me to create a purpose-driven community where people can grow, connect, and thrive.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to embrace the process, not just the outcome, and to see mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow. This mindset helped me move beyond seeking perfection, take risks, and approach challenges as opportunities for innovation, leadership, and personal growth.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the arts is to trust their inner voice, embrace the creative process, and never let others define their potential. There is no perfect time or background required to begin—every experience is an opportunity to learn, grow, and create something meaningful.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field is helping people reconnect with creativity and self-expression in an increasingly digital world where perfection and automation can create creative anxiety. At the same time, this presents a great opportunity for art studios to provide meaningful, hands-on experiences that foster mindfulness, connection, and personal growth through authentic creative exploration.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide my work and personal life are mindfulness, authenticity, and a growth mindset. I believe in being present, embracing the journey, and creating spaces where people feel valued and supported. By focusing on connection, continuous learning, and self-expression, I strive to help others discover their confidence and unique voice.
