Sierra Solnick

Sierra Solnick serves as Production Director for The Hemp Coach, a company in the hemp industry located in Portland, Oregon. She brings close to 10 years of experience in the cannabis industry, with her primary focus on extraction, refinement chemistry including distillation processes, as well as oversight of product development, manufacturing in the lab, filling department, quality control, and packaging. She manages a team of over 40 people including leads, supervisors, and managers, ensuring compliance and traceability across more than 200 product offerings in a heavily regulated environment. Solnick earned her Bachelor's of Science in Wellness and Alternative Medicine from Northern Vermont University, where she also developed a passion for research and herbal medicine. She later completed a five-year dual program at the National University of Natural Medicine, graduating almost two years ago with both a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master's in Clinical Medicine Research. During her training, she gained clinical experience in community clinics serving diverse populations, including houseless individuals, and volunteered at women's shelters through Volunteers of America and at Central City Concern in Portland, developing a passion for working with vulnerable communities.
