Her Interview
Ten minutes with Simona
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to faith, purpose, and a genuine desire to create a more harmonious world by helping people understand, heal, and love one another as God intended. My children are my greatest motivation, inspiring me to lead by example and help create a better world for future generations. Through purposeful organizations like Willow Health & Wellness Center and Tree of Life Vocational Center, I strive to empower others to discover their purpose, pay it forward, and create meaningful change that continues for generations to come.”
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be a witness to my emotions rather than a participant in them. When I step back and observe what I’m feeling, I gain a bird’s-eye view that allows me to respond with clarity rather than react in the moment. Emotions can be like mirages in the desert—they may feel overwhelming, but they eventually pass. The key is not allowing a temporary emotion to redirect you from your destination. This perspective has helped me lead with greater wisdom, resilience, and intention.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to know and embrace your authentic self first. Do not allow the industry to define you; let your work become an extension of who you already are and the purpose you carry.
Discover what grounds you spiritually, understand your “why,” and approach your career as an opportunity to serve, grow, and create meaningful change. When you are rooted in purpose, you are better equipped to remain grounded, resilient, and true to yourself despite the pressures around you.
Build your career, but never lose yourself while building it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is that we still have a healthcare system that often responds to illness after it develops, while prevention, education, mental wellness, and lifestyle support can remain fragmented. But that is also our greatest opportunity: to build bridges between clinical healthcare, preventive wellness, and community support. I believe the future isn’t about choosing conventional or holistic care—it is about responsible integration that puts the whole person at the center.”
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are compassion, integrity, healing, service, empowerment, and meaningful influence. I believe true influence is not measured by fame, titles, or visibility, but by the lives we positively impact. I see myself as a catalyst for change, helping one person at a time heal, grow, and recognize their own power. When one person becomes empowered, that transformation creates a ripple effect through families, communities, and future generations. That, to me, is meaningful influence and lasting legacy.
