Her Story

About Sparkle

Sparkle Li is a motivational health and life coach, nurse, public speaker, author, and advocate for emotional wellness and personal transformation. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As the founder of Let Peace Flow, LLC, Sparkle empowers women to embrace self-awareness, build confidence, and create lasting change through compassionate coaching, mindset development, and holistic wellness practices. Sparkle personally knows what it feels like to be lost, overwhelmed, and searching for peace. Through her own journey of healing, faith, and personal growth, she discovered that transformation begins from within. Today, she is very passionate about helping women break through limitations, rediscover their purpose, and create lives filled with peace, confidence, and joy... Sparkle’s journey into healthcare began with a deeply personal experience. After the premature birth of her identical twins, who spent three months in the neonatal intensive care unit, she was inspired by the nurses who cared for her family during one of the most challenging times of her life. Just months after bringing her babies home, she enrolled in nursing school and embarked on a career that would eventually lead her into leadership positions, including Director of Nursing and Director of Staff Development. Along the way, she earned multiple certifications in healthcare administration, dementia care, infection control, staff development, and other specialized areas, establishing herself as both a respected clinician and educator within the healthcare community. Beyond her nursing career, Sparkle is passionate about helping others find healing through their own life experiences. Having faced significant personal challenges, including managing autoimmune diseases and overcoming periods of emotional and physical burnout, she developed a deeper understanding of the connection between mindset, health, and personal growth. She is one of the co-author's of the book entitled *Life Lessons, My Choice to Live* and is actively involved in community organizations that support entrepreneurs, mental health awareness, and the LGBTQ+ community. Through speaking engagements, coaching programs, and everyday interactions, Sparkle remains committed to inspiring others to overcome adversity, discover their purpose, and live with greater peace, resilience, and self-love.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sparkle

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my life challenges and the life lessons that I've had to learn through going through these challenges, and that's what birthed "Let Peace Flow", which is my business, but first my life's purpose. If I had not gone through all the hardships and things that I've gone through in life, Let Peace Flow would not be here today. But I had to go through those challenges in order to become the very best version of myself, so then that way, I can lead by example. I can't expect anybody to follow me if I'm not leading. So what I've learned through my own personal experience is what has shaped me into the woman I am today and what has birthed Let Peace Flow. My 5 children are my biggest and best accomplishment. They are and have always been my biggest cheerleaders, supporters, and my fan club. They love they have always shown me, as they had to personally watch some of my life's hardest moments, is no short than a blessing, and I am more than honored to be their mom. I never feel alone when it comes to my children. When I had times when I just wanted to check out of life and give up, it was my children that made me said, no, I'm gonna keep on going. It doesn't matter what I feel like, it doesn't matter what I'm going through, I'm gonna keep going, because at the end of the day, when it's time for me to go home and be with God, I want my children to say, it didn't matter what my mom felt like, it didn't matter what she was going through, she got up every single day and she did what she needed to do to show us what true strength really looks like.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Self care and love is key. Take care of yourself first so you can effectively care for others. Sparkle has learned through personal experience that sustainable success comes from maintaining balance, prioritizing wellness, and protecting your peace while continuing to serve others with purpose. Choose yourself daily, no matter what challenges you may be facing, and keep on moving forward...

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't give up. Have hope. Be encouraged. Find and surround yourself around people who have surpassed where you're trying to go. These select people, and communities can help launch the trajectory of where you're trying to go in life. It may not happen immediately or as fast as you would like for it to go, but keep putting one step in front of the other. Keep doing the work, because in your due time and in your due season, it will reap a harvest, and it will be everything that you want it to be., and maybe even more than you envisioned. Just don't give up. If you believe in yourself and you believe in what you're doing and what you're branding for people, it will come to pass. Just keep going, keep going. Even if you're getting negative comments from people, even if your mind is playing tricks on you and you're feeling like, oh, I can't do this, oh, there's already too many people in the industry doing it, no, cast out the negative thoughts right away. We only put positive energy into the atmosphere, even if what we're seeing before us is not what's happening to us. Keep going. Don't give up. You got this.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest challenges is helping people understand the deep connection between mental, emotional, and physical health while navigating increasingly complex healthcare systems. However, there are tremendous opportunities to integrate holistic wellness, coaching, preventative care, and self-advocacy into healthcare conversations. Sparkle believes there is a growing need for leaders who can bridge traditional healthcare with mindset transformation and natural healing approaches.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Self-care, self-awareness, mental health awareness, choosing yourself, loving yourself for where you're at right now, and walking in your purpose are the values most important to me. I'm selfishly choosing myself now. I have always poured into everybody else, life, and then had to realize, who's pouring back into me when my well is running dry? So I'm selfishly choosing myself now unapologetically. I have fallen in love with myself . I look at myself in the mirror and sometimes I don't even recognize myself and it just feels so great, because this was a long time coming. I choose sparkle over anything and everybody else. II had to put in the work to mold and shape myself with God to become this new improved version of myself. I am selfishly choosing myself, and anybody who can't see that, well that's okay because I no longer freely give access to me. to everyone anymore. If your energy is not right, then your access is now denied because I love me enough to finally choose myself.
