Srijana Lawa is a driven and multidisciplinary data professional who currently serves as a Senior Research Data Manager at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. With a strong foundation in programming, machine learning, and statistical analysis, she has devoted her career to using data to drive insight, improve outcomes, and influence decision-making in both corporate and public health environments. Her passion for uncovering the stories data can tell began during her undergraduate studies and deepened through her graduate education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned her master’s in Data Analytics and Applied Economics.
Over the years, Srijana has amassed experience across sectors—including healthcare, hospitality, and education—demonstrating a consistent ability to bridge technical complexity with practical solutions. From analyzing customer feedback for MGM Resorts to managing HIV study data at Johns Hopkins, her work reflects both technical acumen and strategic thinking. Proficient in tools like SAS, SQL, Python, and R, she also brings a collaborative spirit to leadership, having supervised data teams and presented research findings at national conferences.
