About Stacy
Stacy Golden is a leadership development consultant, executive coach, facilitator, and speaker whose career spans more than three decades, including 25 years in corporate leadership and the last eight years building her own consulting practice. Before stepping into entrepreneurship, she held senior operational roles at organizations such as Sony Electronics, where she developed deep expertise in supply chain logistics, trade compliance, and regulatory affairs. Today, she channels that operational background into her work as an independent consultant, partnering with organizations to design and deliver leadership training, executive coaching, organizational development initiatives, and speaking engagements that help leaders at every level communicate more effectively, build confidence, and foster inclusive, high-performing teams. She also facilitates classes on import and export regulatory compliance, sharing practical knowledge and experience with professionals navigating complex global trade requirements. Beyond her client engagements, Golden is deeply committed to service beyond the boardroom. She serves on the boards of Prison to Purpose and the Association of Trade Compliance Professionals. At Prison to Purpose, she helped shape a 12-week curriculum designed to support formerly incarcerated individuals as they rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society. She is also a member of the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement. Her professional contributions have been recognized through honors such as the YWCA TWIN Award and a Foreign Trade Zone Award, alongside credentials including a Mini MBA Certificate from Arizona State University and an Executive Development Certificate from Sony Tokyo University. She holds a master's degree in leadership, reflecting her ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth. At the core of Golden's work is a philosophy rooted in servant leadership: she believes true success is measured by one's ability to help others reach their full potential. This conviction was shaped in large part by a mentor who has guided her for more than 25 years, instilling in her the responsibility to pass wisdom forward to those she leads. 01What do you attribute your success to?
My leadership journey began with a commitment to my own personal development, made possible by my family whose support and sacrifices gave me the space to grow. Along the way, a mentor of more than 25 years challenged my thinking and taught me that wisdom must be shared. Their collective investment continues to inspire me to lead with purpose and help others reach their full potential.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The most impactful lesson I've received is to think strategically, continually develop others, and intentionally pass knowledge on to the next generation of leaders. Leadership, to me, is fundamentally about creating opportunities for others to grow.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to seek out mentors, both within their organizations and outside of them. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want — be firm and confident in your ambitions. I'd also urge women to move away from competing with one another and instead focus on lifting each other up and offering genuine support.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Organizations today are working to develop strong, authentic leaders who can build inclusive cultures while navigating constant change. At the same time, this creates real opportunity. Companies are increasingly investing in leadership coaching, professional development, and organizational transformation, which opens the door for meaningful, lasting impact.

Faith, integrity, trust, and inclusiveness guide everything I do. My mission is to help people recognize their potential, strengthen their character, and cultivate the skills needed to influence others in a meaningful way. I strive to live a life grounded in faith and filled with peace, love, joy, purpose, and meaningful relationships.
