Her Story
About Stacy
Stacy Golden is a leadership development consultant, executive coach, and facilitator whose career spans more than three decades, including 25 years in corporate leadership and the last eight years building her own consulting practice. Before stepping into entrepreneurship, she held senior operational roles at organizations such as Sony Electronics, where she developed deep expertise in supply chain logistics, trade compliance, and regulatory affairs. Today, she channels that operational background into her work as an independent consultant, partnering with organizations to design and deliver leadership training, executive coaching, and organizational development initiatives that help leaders at every level communicate more effectively, build confidence, and foster inclusive, high-performing teams.
Beyond her client engagements, Golden is deeply committed to service beyond the boardroom. She serves as a board member for Prison to Purpose, where she helped shape a 12-week curriculum designed to support formerly incarcerated individuals as they rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society. Her professional contributions have been recognized through honors such as the YWCA TWIN Award and a Foreign Trade Zone Award, alongside credentials including a Mini MBA Certificate from Arizona State University and an Executive Development Certificate from Sony Tokyo University. She is also completing a master's degree in leadership, reflecting her ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth.
At the core of Golden's work is a philosophy rooted in servant leadership: she believes true success is measured by one's ability to help others reach their full potential. This conviction was shaped in large part by a mentor who has guided her for more than 25 years, instilling in her the responsibility to pass wisdom forward to those she leads. Anchored in the values of faith, family, integrity, trust, and inclusiveness, Golden looks ahead to expanding her national speaking platform, teaching supply chain logistics at the collegiate level, and continuing to grow her consulting brand — all while leaving behind a legacy defined by authentic, service-driven leadership.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Stacy
01What do you attribute your success to?
I owe much of my success to a mentor who has invested in my growth for more than 25 years. He challenged my strategic thinking early in my career and made clear that his guidance was meant to be passed forward — that if I didn't take what he taught me and share it with those I lead, his efforts would have been in vain. That expectation has shaped how I approach leadership ever since.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The most impactful lesson I've received is to think strategically, continually develop others, and intentionally pass knowledge on to the next generation of leaders. Leadership, to me, is fundamentally about creating opportunities for others to grow.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to seek out mentors, both within their organizations and outside of them. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want — be firm and confident in your ambitions. I'd also urge women to move away from competing with one another and instead focus on lifting each other up and offering genuine support.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Organizations today are working to develop strong, authentic leaders who can build inclusive cultures while navigating constant change. At the same time, this creates real opportunity — companies are increasingly investing in leadership coaching, professional development, and organizational transformation, which opens the door for meaningful, lasting impact.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith, integrity, trust, and inclusiveness guide everything I do. My mission is to help people recognize their potential, strengthen their character, and cultivate the skills needed to influence others in a meaningful way. I strive to live a life grounded in faith and filled with peace, love, joy, purpose, and meaningful relationships.
