What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a genuine passion for both my work and the people I serve. Taking the leap to start my own business was a defining moment, and I’ve remained committed to pushing forward despite challenges. One of the most significant tests of my resilience was persevering through personal adversity—continuing my education and graduating with honors after the loss of my father—which strengthened my determination and sense of purpose. Also, overcoming the challenges that I face daily due to a recent diagnosis of Early Onset Parkinson's Disease. After having brain surgery to control my shaking, I rose up and fought through the recovery process that ultimately lead to my determination of starting my business.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Stay positive. Work hard. Make it happen.
Keep your head up and never let anyone bring you down.
Be strong. Be courageous. And never stop believing in yourself.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I advise young women entering the industry to take their time and truly embrace the learning process. In the beginning, when clients may be few, use that time to grow—study, build your knowledge, and take full advantage of the tools available to you. Stay patient, remain committed to learning, and most importantly, find joy in what you do.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in this field is starting from the ground up and building a client base, as new agents often begin with few or no clients. However, this also presents a significant opportunity—the ability to build an independent practice where you have full control over your business direction and the client experience you create.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are independence, family, and the ability to connect with and serve others. I also place a strong emphasis on resilience, as it allows me to navigate challenges while staying focused on what matters most. I truly believe in core values and going the distance to help others. I put 100% into my work and I am proud of what I do and accomplish and present to my clients.
