Summer Sellers is a Police Dispatcher Instructor with the Dallas Police Department and a U.S. Navy Reservist, holding an active Secret Security Clearance. With nearly a decade of service in public safety and law enforcement, she has built her career on critical thinking, real-time incident response, and strong communication under pressure. Her leadership and instructional expertise have helped shape the next generation of dispatchers while supporting the broader mission of community safety.

In addition to her public safety career, Summer is actively pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Digital Forensics at American Military University. She is also preparing for her CompTIA Security+ certification as part of her transition into the cybersecurity field. By blending her background in law enforcement with a growing technical skill set, she is committed to identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats in today’s dynamic digital landscape.

One of the biggest challenges in this industry is its nuance—you can specialize in almost anything, which can make it both exciting and overwhelming.
