Tabitha Blanton
Tabitha Blanton is a dedicated business student at Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing her second degree in Business Administration after earning her first degree in Health and Human Services. A full-time student with a strong commitment to higher education, she has engaged directly with university leadership to support initiatives for lower-income and disabled individuals. Her academic accomplishments include induction into the Honor Society and recognition as a finalist for a TED Talk at her upcoming graduation, reflecting her leadership, initiative, and dedication to advocacy.
Tabitha brings a wealth of professional experience that spans multiple industries, beginning at the age of 13 in the food service sector and continuing through several years at Huddle House, where she developed expertise in customer service, team management, and operations. She later transitioned to the auto parts industry, leveraging her family’s background in mechanics, before leaving due to management changes. Her diverse experience demonstrates adaptability, resilience, and a strong work ethic, qualities she now applies to both her studies and volunteer efforts.
Deeply inspired by her late mother, who worked with disabled veterans, Tabitha is passionate about supporting others and serves as a Volunteer Ambassador for Mission 22, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting veterans and their families. Recognized as Ambassador of the Month for her advocacy, she is committed to promoting programs that aid veterans and individuals with disabilities.
