These experiences strengthened her leadership, communication, and cross-cultural skills, all of which inform her pastoral approach today.
Tatiana earned her Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish for Translation and Interpretation, with a minor in Family Studies, from Andrews University. She has also completed Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units through ACPE, further deepening her expertise in spiritual care and chaplaincy. Fluent in English and Spanish, with limited proficiency in Portuguese, Tatiana extends her ministry to diverse communities, volunteering in patient care and health initiatives for over a decade. Her journey reflects a steadfast dedication to service, spiritual growth, and bridging compassion across all areas of her work.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of inspiration, dedication, and lifelong learning. From a young age, I was inspired to pursue my field after seeing the profound impact chaplains had when my father underwent surgery. Since then, I have explored many areas within healthcare, driven by a desire to provide spiritual and emotional support to those in need.
Currently, I work at a hospital in Florida and am focused on becoming a board-certified chaplain, with plans to pursue a PhD in the future. I am deeply committed to personal and professional growth, embracing opportunities to learn and expand my expertise.
Above all, my success is rooted in my dedication to my children. They are my greatest motivation and the driving force behind my commitment to excellence in both my career and personal life.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always be honest and open. Staying authentic in my work and communication has guided my decisions, strengthened my relationships, and allowed me to grow both personally and professionally.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life center around curiosity, growth, and connection. I find inspiration in exploring new ideas, whether through reading, visiting coffee shops, attending cultural events, or exploring museums. These experiences enrich my perspective and fuel my passion for continuous learning and meaningful engagement with the world around me.
