Her Story

About Teresa

Teresa Phillips is a motivational speaker based in Dripping Springs, Texas. She has been speaking for about six months after transitioning from her previous work as a voiceover actress. Phillips volunteers at the non-profit KWVH Radio, 94.3 FM in Wimberly Valley, where she hosts a 15 to 30 second radio vignette called The Positive Life Moment with Teresa. Three years ago, she developed the framework of the self, a four-step process centered on love, confidence, respect, and appreciation, which helped her overcome trauma and become more authentic. She speaks primarily to trauma survivors and burnout survivors on resilience, often at events like those hosted by the Ladies Lifestyle Network, including an upcoming engagement at the Cabana Club in Austin, Texas. Phillips also hosts the podcast Phoenix Rising, Wisdom of the Heart, which is being revamped for YouTube. She is a musician and singer who plays piano and drums. Her best career advice is to be herself, be authentic, and follow her own path, and she advises young women entering the field to find a mentor, believe in themselves, know their voice matters, and keep going despite challenges.
