Her Story
About Terica
Transformation rarely fails because of strategy. It fails because organizations underestimate the human side of change.
Terica Wright is a Fractional Executive Partner and Organizational Capability Strategist who helps organizations bridge the gap between strategic vision and successful execution. She partners with executive leaders to strengthen the leadership, culture, communication, and organizational capability required for transformation to succeed long after the project team has moved on.
For more than two decades, Terica has helped organizations navigate complex change across government, healthcare, biotechnology, and corporate environments. Her experience spans enterprise technology implementations, mergers and acquisitions, organizational redesign, workforce transformation, leadership development, learning strategy, and culture evolution, enabling organizations to increase adoption, accelerate performance, and build lasting resilience.
Rather than viewing change as a project, Terica approaches it as a capability. She helps organizations develop the systems, behaviors, and leadership practices that allow people to adapt, collaborate, and perform through continual change.
Her work combines strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring business objectives and human experience evolve together.
As the co-founder of Seismic and founder of Terica Wright Coaching & Consulting, she partners with organizations seeking more than implementation support. She becomes a trusted executive thought partner who helps leaders navigate complexity, align stakeholders, remove barriers to execution, and create environments where both people and performance thrive.
Her philosophy is rooted in a simple belief: Strong organizations are built by developing strong humans.
Terica works with entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals navigating significant life and career transitions. Whether launching a business, redefining leadership, recovering from personal change, or pursuing a new direction, she helps clients create intentional strategies that align with who they are becoming, not simply where they have been.
Her commitment to transformation extends beyond business. She actively supports initiatives focused on domestic violence prevention, sexual assault awareness, justice-impacted individuals, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and animal welfare because she believes the strongest communities, like the strongest organizations, are built through dignity, opportunity, and belonging.
Terica's mission is to help people, leaders, and organizations build the capability to evolve with confidence in a world where change is no longer an event, but a constant.

Ten minutes with Terica
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to what I call my neurospicy superpowers; unique cognitive wiring that allows me to see and process the world differently.
I notice what others often miss. I hear what isn’t being said. I recognize patterns, blind spots, and system dynamics quickly, which allows me to understand both the human experience and the structural realities within organizations.
This perspective has shaped my ability to design human-first solutions that set people up for success, whether in large-scale organizational transformation or individual life transitions. I can zoom in with precision on individual experiences while also zooming out to see the larger system at play, and I am able to communicate and translate across all levels of an organization with clarity and ease.
At its core, my success comes from seeing people clearly, seeing systems clearly, and helping the two finally work together.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to trust myself. More than the noise, opinions, or expectations around me.
That guidance has kept me aligned with my own path and helped me make decisions based on what feels authentic and fulfilling, rather than what is expected or conventional. It’s been a grounding force in choosing work that is meaningful, aligned, and true to who I am.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this field is to be intentional about who you surround yourself with.
Find people who not only recognize your value but reflect it back to you. People who see your potential, respect your voice, and support your growth. The right environment can accelerate your confidence and impact, while the wrong one can quietly diminish both. Your contributions matter. Make sure you are in rooms where that truth is understood without explanation.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges right now is the widening gap between organizations that prioritize people and those that prioritize profit above all else. Many companies are navigating pressure to reduce investment in areas like leadership development, culture, and DEI, while also exploring increased reliance on automation and AI in ways that can unintentionally devalue the human element of work.
At the same time, this creates a clear opportunity. The organizations that choose to invest in their people are becoming more intentional, more resilient, and more committed to sustainable growth. They are recognizing that long-term success is directly tied to how well they support, develop, and engage their teams.
I partner with these organizations to strengthen that commitment. Helping them design systems, structures, and strategies that support both long-term scalability and sustainability. My focus is on creating human-first, win-win solutions where people are equipped to thrive and, in turn, drive business success.
When you take care of your people, they take care of your business.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The core values that guide my work and life are authenticity, integrity, and compassion.
These values shape how I show up in every space; professionally and personally. They influence how I lead, how I support others, and how I make decisions, especially in complex or high-stakes environments.
They are not just principles I believe in; they are standards I live by.
