For more than 40 years in the insurance and surety industry, I have built a reputation for professionalism, reliability, and client-focused service. At the same time, I have successfully grown On The Move Travel LLC over the past 13 years, helping individuals, families, churches, and organizations create memorable travel experiences around the world. My ability to balance two careers is rooted in discipline, organization, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Every day, I strive to provide exceptional service, build meaningful relationships, and help clients turn their goals and dreams into reality. These values continue to guide me both professionally and personally and have been the foundation of my success.

Put God first, set clear goals, and never give up. Keeping God at the center of your life provides direction, strength, and perspective during both successes and challenges. Faith has a way of keeping you grounded and reminding you that every season has a purpose. Set goals for yourself and create a plan to achieve them. Goals give you something to work toward and help turn dreams into reality. Don't be afraid to dream big, but also be willing to put in the work required to make those dreams happen.

Most importantly, never give up. There will be obstacles, setbacks, and moments when success seems far away. Stay focused, remain committed, and keep moving forward. Persistence, determination, and a positive attitude often make the difference between those who quit and those who succeed. My journey of more than 40 years in the insurance industry and 13 years as the owner of On The Move Travel LLC has taught me that hard work, faith, dedication, and perseverance can open doors you never imagined possible. Stay faithful, stay focused, and keep believing in yourself and your purpose.

I would tell young women to first have morals and values and not look at everything as an entitlement. Work hard for what you want, set goals, follow your dreams, and pray about the decisions you make. Don't just be a follower—be a leader. And with being a leader comes the mindset of asking, "Who can I help? We can't be selfish in what we do. We have to think beyond ourselves and invest in the future. It can't just be about me; it's about creating opportunities for future generations.Throughout my career, I've made it a priority to help others grow. I've trained approximately 16 women in the travel industry, and one of the most important lessons I teach is to pay it forward. Houston is a large city with plenty of opportunities for everyone. You're not going to get all the business, so why not help someone else succeed?

The biggest challenges right now are what's going on in the world with war and different global issues like that. But at the same time, the greatest opportunity for me is that I get to travel and share the world with other people. I try to go on a trip at least twice a month, learning different cultures and different foods, and then educating my clients so they can see more than just the usual destinations. Before, everyone just wanted to go to Cancun. Now I get inquiries for places like Germany and Thailand, and it's been really exciting to see that shift. When people see me traveling or see that I sent a group somewhere, they realize they're not confined to just the norm anymore - they can actually go out and explore the world in a bigger way.

One of the biggest challenges facing the travel industry today is the uncertainty created by global events, including wars, economic fluctuations, and other international issues that can impact travel plans. As a travel professional, staying informed and helping clients navigate those challenges is an important part of what I do. At the same time, those challenges have created incredible opportunities. One of the greatest rewards of my career is being able to travel the world and share those experiences with others. I make it a priority to travel at least twice a month, immersing myself in different cultures, cuisines, and destinations. These firsthand experiences allow me to better educate and inspire my clients. I've seen a tremendous shift in travel interests over the years. There was a time when many travelers only considered destinations like Cancun. Today, I receive inquiries for places such as Germany, Thailand, Greece, and other destinations across the globe. It's exciting to see people become more adventurous and open to exploring new cultures and experiences. When clients see me traveling or see the groups I've helped send around the world, they begin to realize they are not limited to the traditional vacation destinations. They understand that the world is much bigger and more accessible than they may have imagined. Helping people expand their horizons and experience the beauty of different cultures is one of the most fulfilling aspects of owning On The Move Travel LLC. My goal is not just to book trips but to inspire people to see the world, embrace new experiences, and create memories that last a lifetime.
