Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to persistence, resilience, and a commitment to speaking out even when it is uncomfortable or discouraged. I have chosen not to remain silent and instead to follow what I see as my calling in advocacy and creative expression. My work is guided by integrity, and I focus on producing meaningful, high-quality content that reflects my values and vision.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was: “Do not let them intimidate you into silence, that is exactly what they want.” I also received guidance from a former director who told me, “Do not let men run you out of town.” I have carried this advice forward as a reminder to stand firm, use my voice, and continue engaging actively in my work and society.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women to listen to their own calling and trust it completely. If something feels meant for you, pursue it—even when others discourage you. Many people may tell you to give up or not try, but if you feel strongly called to something, you should follow it and not allow external doubt to silence you or deter your path.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field is the risk of being silenced while trying to address social advocacy and democratic values. There is also an overwhelming amount of content in today’s digital environment, which often prioritizes quantity over quality. As an independent creator, it can be challenging to find the right platforms and channels to ensure meaningful work reaches the right audience.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is the most important value in my life. I deeply value the quality of my work and believe strongly in artistic ownership and authenticity. My creative and advocacy work is rooted in maintaining high standards, staying true to my beliefs, and ensuring that artists and creators maintain control over their own expressions and contributions.
