What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?
Tidda Eng Davis: One piece of a valuable advice I would give to younger women chasing their dreams is, sweetheart, first things first, always put yourself first. And please ask yourself. Have a transparent conversation. Be completely 100% honest with yourself. You have no room to no one and no room to prove anything to but yourself, with yourself. Start with this question. What do I want? From there, young lady, watch the opportunities show up for you, left and right. And then from there, it's up to you. To be awake. And clear minded enough. To be able to see what's in your face honey. Cuz sometimes everything that we're looking for, everything that we feel we may want. It's actually right in our laps in our hands. We have the cream of the crop in our hands. Let's take care of it the right way, so we can harvest in abundance. For you, young lady.

Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tidda
01What do you attribute your success to?
I give that all back to God, my community and the people that contributed towards my success. I did not do it alone. I will give that acknowledgement first. So, of course, I will forever serve my community, because it was my community that raised me and made me who I am today.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Do what makes you happy, cause that’s where you are your best!
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Identify who you are, discover your purpose, live for the experience and lessons learned!
Always pursue self-development and excellence. How we show up for ourselves and the choices we make reflects what’s inside and the trajectory of our journey.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field is working directly with people outdoors, which requires quick thinking and strong interpersonal skills to address immediate needs. At the same time, there’s a huge opportunity to engage in community outreach, education, and empowerment, fostering lasting relationships and local leadership.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are empowerment, community service, and raising awareness. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, exercising, planting, and spending time outdoors, which helps me stay grounded and connected to the world around me.
