01What do you attribute your success to?
My family. I'm not just working for myself, I'm working for my family. We've been through a rough patch lately, losing their father first, and then their grandmother in less than a year.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never give up. Keep pushing. Don't quit; your hard work will pay off.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If you have a dream, pursue it, nourish it, and build it. Having your own business is not easy, but if you work at it, you can make it happen and learn the Rule of 72, also called the Banker's Rule, and why Investing is so important when you're building a legacy for your own family.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Being new in this industry really is finding the business partners who are like you to come in to join and looking for and engaging people to learn the difference about life insurance to see if they are good and have enough protection.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family values and work ethics.

You Don't Have to Have Everything Figured Out to Lead
For a long time, I thought leadership meant having all the answers, being completely confident, and knowing exactly what your next move would be.
I've learned that real leadership looks very different.
Sometimes leadership is choosing to keep moving while you are still figuring things out yourself. It is learning, growing, asking questions, and then reaching back to help someone else with what you have learned.
As a woman, a mother, and a financial services professional, I have discovered that some of the most important growth happens outside our comfort zones. I am naturally shy, so putting myself out there, meeting new people, building relationships, and talking about financial education did not always come naturally to me.
But purpose has a way of pushing you past fear.
Why Financial Education Matters to Me
Money affects nearly every family, yet many people were never taught how financial concepts work.
Questions about life insurance, budgeting, retirement, protecting income, and building a financial foundation can feel overwhelming when no one has ever taken the time to explain them.
That is one reason I became passionate about financial education.
I don't believe people should feel embarrassed because they don't know something about money. I believe they should have a place where they can ask questions, learn, and make more informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Leadership Is Also About Opening Doors
My journey has also taught me that helping people doesn't always mean selling them something.
Sometimes it means introducing someone to an opportunity.
Sometimes it means encouraging a woman who doesn't recognize her own potential yet.
Sometimes it means connecting someone with a resource, answering a question, or simply saying, “I believe you can do this.”
Those moments matter.
I especially want other women and mothers to know that their current circumstances do not have to determine the rest of their story. You can learn a new skill. You can pursue a license or certification. You can build professional relationships. You can start over. You can become more confident, one conversation at a time.
I'm Still Growing, Too
One of the most important things I can share is that I am still learning.
I am still building.
I am still becoming a stronger leader.
And I think there is power in being willing to say that.
We don't have to wait until we reach some imaginary finish line before we can make a difference. We can help people with what we know today while continuing to become better tomorrow.
My goal is to build a career and a legacy centered on education, service, integrity, and helping others recognize possibilities they may not have seen before.
If my journey encourages even one woman to believe a little more in herself, ask that financial question she's been afraid to ask, or take the first step toward a new opportunity, then sharing my story is worth it.
You don't have to have everything figured out to lead. Sometimes leadership begins the moment you decide not to give up on becoming who you know you can be.
