Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to being fully committed to the work that I do and showing up every day with a spirit of excellence. I have always believed in bringing more to the table than what is expected and continuously striving to grow and improve. Building strong relationships has also been a key part of my journey. Over the course of my career, I’ve been fortunate to build meaningful relationships both internally and externally, and those connections have played an important role in my professional growth and long-term success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the best pieces of career advice I’ve received was to truly understand what keeps your business moving and what keeps your leaders up at night. That perspective helps you think more strategically about the opportunities you’re working on and how your work contributes to the bigger picture. Another piece of advice that has stayed with me is that “leaders eat last,” meaning that effective leadership often requires putting the needs of the business and your team first in order to achieve long-term success.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice would be to take your time and truly learn the business you are in. It can be tempting to always look ahead to the next role or opportunity, but it’s important to first build a strong foundation and fully understand the work in front of you. Developing deep knowledge and confidence in your current role will ultimately prepare you for greater opportunities and long-term success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in our industry is navigating external factors that can impact the business, such as inflation, supply chain disruptions, transportation costs, and evolving market conditions. These factors can influence everything from product production to distribution and customer demand. The opportunity lies in staying agile and responsive, adjusting strategies as conditions change, and continuing to deliver value for customers despite those challenges.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Authenticity and integrity are the values that guide both my personal and professional life. I believe in always being true to who you are, operating with honesty, and building strong relationships based on trust and respect. When you lead with authenticity and integrity, it creates a foundation for meaningful partnerships and long-lasting success.
