Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tiffany
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to 19 years in financial services, including 17 years with my current company and two years as a team manager. My journey from business operations and analysis roles into IT has taught me to adapt, grow, and collaborate with engineers to create solutions for clients and advisors. I also credit my experience as a working mom and continuing my education while raising a family, which strengthened my resilience, discipline, and determination.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to never give up. I learned this from watching my mom work hard while always being there for me, and I carried that same determination into my own career. Earning my degree in Business Administration from Clearwater Christian College and my MBA from Capella University while working full-time was challenging, but it taught me the value of perseverance and staying committed to my goals.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to keep going and never underestimate your resilience. Stay connected, seek mentorship, and be willing to mentor others as you grow. By supporting and empowering one another, we can pay it forward and help create opportunities for the next generation of women.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field is finding meaningful ways to pay it forward by mentoring and supporting others. I value the opportunity to share my experience, help others grow, and contribute to the development of future leaders.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are service, mentorship, and relationship building. I’m proud to share my story and experiences to help others grow, while balancing my career in financial services, motherhood, and community involvement. Over my 17-year career, one of my greatest accomplishments has been mentoring others, helping mentees advance professionally, and building meaningful connections with interns and colleagues. Giving back through Foundations Academy, Starkey Cares, Man Up, and other community organizations is also deeply meaningful to me.
