Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of experience, adaptability, and a deep passion for personalized healthcare. My career began in pediatrics, which led to an opportunity as a pediatric case worker. I then spent 12 years as a case manager and five years in insurance, gaining a comprehensive understanding of patient care and healthcare systems. Currently, I am expanding my expertise by becoming a life care planner for attorneys, allowing me to combine my knowledge of healthcare with advocacy and planning for individuals in need. Throughout my career, my focus has always been on providing the highest level of care and ensuring that every person receives the attention and support they deserve. My dedication to personalized healthcare drives everything I do. I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve, using my experience, empathy, and expertise to advocate for the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be bold, adventurous, and true to yourself. Stay hungry for growth but remain humble in your approach. Seek out mentors and nurture those relationships—behind every strong woman is a strong mentor, and maintaining that connection can be invaluable throughout your career.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are pride in what I do, collaboration, authenticity, and creating synergy. I believe that when you engage in work that you are proud of and do it with integrity, you are moving in the right direction. Working together with others and being genuine in all interactions strengthens both professional and personal relationships. One of my proudest moments was receiving an award for my care of a pediatric patient with cystic fibrosis who wasn’t eating and whose parents couldn’t be there. I brought her favorite meal and a VHS movie, providing a small but meaningful moment of comfort during a very difficult time. Experiences like these reinforce my commitment to compassionate, personalized care. Outside of work, I enjoy dancing in a variety of styles and pursuing personal goals. Staying active and creative allows me to bring energy, joy, and balance to my life, which I believe enriches both my professional practice and my personal growth.
