Trisha Ongjoco Ligeralde
Trisha Ongjoco Ligeralde’s journey in healthcare began early, stepping into the field at just 18 years old and learning from the inside out. Over the years, she’s taken on a wide range of responsibilities, gaining perspective through experience, adaptability, and curiosity rather than titles alone.
What truly shaped her path was people. Every role, chapter, and season introduced mentors, collaborators, and community members who poured into her growth. Through those relationships, Trisha learned that progress is built through trust, shared vision, and showing up consistently — lessons that continue to guide her work today.
Now in a leadership and ambassadorial role at Interim Healthcare of La Jolla, Trisha is known for bridging worlds: aligning care with connection, strategy with heart, and business goals with human impact. She values collaboration over competition and believes that when women support one another, everyone rises.
What do you attribute your success to?
My success is grounded in intention and grit. Experiencing my father’s health journey at a young age shaped my understanding of compassion, accountability, and the importance of genuine human connection. Those early lessons became the foundation of my path into healthcare and continue to influence how I show up in my work today.
I also owe everything to my mother, who deserves her flowers endlessly. She carried our family with strength far beyond her years, modeling perseverance, humility, and quiet leadership. Watching her rise to every challenge instilled in me an unshakable work ethic and inner drive. The woman I am—and the resilience I lead with—exists because of her.
