Her Interview
Ten minutes with Trisha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to view failure not as a weakness, but as an opportunity and a challenge to do better. I believe every setback can teach us something valuable if we are willing to learn, adapt, and grow from it. I have always tried to remain open to change and use challenges as motivation to improve the next time around. This is also a mindset I instill in my children because I believe that if we do not learn and grow from our failures, we miss an important opportunity for personal development.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Some of the most impactful career advice I received came through the actions of several general managers and vice presidents who believed in me and gave me the autonomy to grow in my roles. Having leaders who trusted my abilities and allowed me the freedom to develop professionally showed me the importance of creating opportunities for growth and taking ownership of them. Their confidence in me had a lasting impact on how I approach my own career development and leadership.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to focus not only on who they know, but also on building relationships so that others know and value what they bring to the table. Our industry can feel both very broad and very connected, so meaningful relationships can create opportunities to learn, grow, and expand professionally. I also believe it is important to surround yourself with positive, insightful people—particularly women who will genuinely support and encourage you through both the successes and challenges of your career. Building a strong and supportive network is essential to long-term growth.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities I see is expanding the reach of the platform we are building and getting it into the hands of as many young people as possible. Youth mental health support remains an important challenge, particularly for teen girls who experience significant emotional, social, and developmental changes during their formative years. I believe there is a tremendous opportunity to provide young people with better resources, meaningful support, and positive communities that help them develop confidence, connection, and the tools they need to thrive.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
One of the most important values to me is finding a meaningful balance between my professional growth and being present for my family. As a mother of three, I believe it is important to be there for my children while continuing to grow personally, professionally, mentally, and physically. I also value pursuing the things that drive us and that we are passionate about, while demonstrating through our actions that hard work and perseverance can create meaningful results. I want my children to see through my example that it is possible to pursue your goals while remaining present for the people who matter most.
