Tyana Gillis

Tyana “Ty” Gillis is a dedicated customer service professional based in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with a strong background in training, technical support, and cross-functional team collaboration. Currently serving as a Receptionist and Trainer at Liv Cannabis, Ty has spent the past four years helping shape customer experiences while mentoring new team members across multiple departments, including inventory, fulfillment, and sales. Her ability to build genuine connections with customers while ensuring smooth, compliant operations has made her a key player in one of Michigan’s growing industries.

Ty’s career journey reflects her passion for communication and people-centered work. From her earlier roles in childcare, chat support, and Starbucks to her leadership as a Lead Receptionist, she’s consistently shown an ability to thrive in dynamic environments while keeping customer satisfaction at the core. She’s also currently pursuing her Associate of Arts in Communication and Media Studies at Macomb Community College, further sharpening her public speaking and interpersonal skills.
