About Vesta
Vesta Gauntlett is the founder and president of Vestar Enterprises LLC, a coaching, publishing, and personal development company dedicated to empowering individuals, authors, and couples to create meaningful next chapters in their lives. Since launching the business in 2019 and transitioning it to an S-Corporation, she has built a multifaceted career as a relationship coach, author, keynote speaker, retreat host, and publishing expert. Through her coaching and speaking engagements, Vesta inspires people to embrace change, strengthen relationships, and confidently pursue their goals.
Drawing on her background in journalism, marketing, and corporate communications, Vesta combines strategic communication with practical coaching to help clients transform ideas into action. She graduated with honors from California State University, Hayward (now California State University, East Bay) with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Business Administration. Before launching her own business, she worked in corporate communications at Hewlett-Packard, developing training materials, policies, and procedures. Today, she coaches aspiring authors through the writing and publishing process and serves as a relationship expert on programs such as Love Experts. She is also the author of several books, including Are You In or Out?, an innovative flip book that provides couples with practical tools and guided conversations to strengthen their relationships without relying on traditional counseling.
In addition to coaching authors and couples, Vesta hosts transformational retreats and regularly appears on television and media outlets to share her expertise. She has been featured on Fox Atlanta, Fox DC, Florida Channel 8, and ABC affiliates in Portland, where she has promoted her books and her message of empowerment, communication, and intentional living. Whether speaking from the stage, mentoring writers, or helping couples envision their future together, Vesta is passionate about equipping people with the confidence, clarity, and actionable strategies they need to write the next chapter of their lives with purpose.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Do it now. Whatever it is that's been in the back of your mind, just start to do the one thing that moves you forward. Find a coach or mentor if needed, and connect with other women who give you energy and accountability.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Write it, start now. Trust your focus and instincts even if young. Break it down into manageable chunks and find someone to encourage and coach you strategically. Do not hold yourself back if you think you are too young to have a story to tell.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Many people stay in disempowering relationships and avoid hard conversations. Opportunity to provide direct, action-oriented tools like the flip book 'Are You In or Out?' that helps couples have the conversation and choose their path forward without traditional heavy counseling.
