Her Interview

Ten minutes with Victoria

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from a combination of resilience, determination, and the people who matter most to me. I'm incredibly stubborn in the best possible way; I don't give up when things get difficult. More than anything, though, I'm motivated by my family, especially my 10-year-old son. I strive to be the kind of woman I hope he grows up respecting and the kind of example that teaches him how to value, encourage, and support strong, compassionate women.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Success isn't about being the smartest person in the room; it's about being someone others trust. Invest in relationships, keep learning, and let your work speak louder than your title.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Remember that you can't control other people; you can only control yourself. If you rely too much on others for your success, it's going to take a lot longer. Focus on what you can do every day to improve, work hard, and create opportunities for yourself.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In my current role, one of the biggest challenges is balancing shifting priorities. Of course, my goal is to bring new residents into our community, but I'm also working in a place where real people need care and support every day. Sometimes that means putting immediate resident or family needs ahead of everything else. Learning how to balance business growth with compassionate service is both the biggest challenge and the greatest opportunity in senior living.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My Christian faith is the foundation of everything I do. I believe God has opened doors throughout my life and career, and I strive to honor Him by serving others with integrity, compassion, and excellence. My family is my greatest motivation, and I want my life and work to reflect the values I hope to pass on to my son: faith, kindness, perseverance, and a genuine desire to help others.
