What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to faith, compassion, and passion for providing quality and deeply meaningful help to people.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It wasn't necessarily career advice, but watching my parents, especially my mother, running a family store with compassion and having the example of hard-working parents is something I have always leaned towards in business and entrepreneurship.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Know your why - why you are pursuing your goals - and be true to yourself.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is working with clients who can pay for my services, since I do a great deal of my work for non-profit organizations and on a sliding scale, income-based affordability model. I'm committed to making my services accessible to everyone who needs help, regardless of their financial situation, but this does create financial challenges for sustaining my practice.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, truth, compassion, and the Bible are the most important values to me in both my work and personal life.
