I attribute my success to a lifelong commitment to learning, serving others, and leading with purpose. Throughout my career in learning and development, leadership facilitation, coaching, and entrepreneurship, I have embraced every opportunity to grow while helping others discover their potential. My faith has been a guiding foundation, and serving as a deaconess in my church has reinforced the importance of integrity, compassion, and servant leadership. Whether designing transformational learning experiences, speaking, coaching, or leading my business, I believe success comes from empowering others, remaining adaptable, and continually investing in both personal and professional growth. My creative passions for drawing and painting also inspire innovation, reminding me to approach challenges with curiosity, creativity, and an open mind.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the learning and development industry is to embrace the mindset of a lifelong learner. Seek opportunities beyond required training by pursuing certifications, attending conferences, reading extensively, and continuously expanding your skills. Get involved in your community and professional organizations to build meaningful relationships and broaden your perspective. Find mentors who will challenge, encourage, and guide your growth, while also remaining open to learning from peers and those you lead. Most importantly, never stop seeking knowledge and experiences that foster both personal and professional development, because continuous growth is the foundation of lasting success.
