Four years ago, when I took on a role at a major company that required relocating from Virginia to Seattle and traveling monthly, I quickly realized my previous ways of working had to change. To keep up with the increased scale and frequent travel, I couldn't rely on hands-on daily monitoring anymore. I had to restructure how our team communicated, delegate core ownership, and build async tracking systems so operations continued growing smoothly even when I was on the road.
