Don't Clip My Wings If I Want To Fly

A Plea to Spread Your Wings and Soar Beyond the Boundaries of Fear

Every human being is born with invisible wings-dreams, talents, and a desire to explore the boundaries of their potential.

However, society, the fears of those around us, or the excessive protectiveness of our loved ones often try to clip those wings under the excuse of safety and care. They tell us to be realistic, not to look at the sun, and to stay on solid ground. But that is too narrow for those who feel the calling of the heights.

To fly does not just mean achieving success; it means having the courage to fall, stand up, and try again. When we forbid someone from flying, we are not protecting them from the fall-we are stripping away their right to live life to the fullest.

So don't pull me down to earth if my eyes are turned toward the stars. Let me spread my wings, because even if I fall, it will be my own flight.

Those wings were not created to be folded in the darkness of security, but to spread and carry us toward unknown heights. To fly means to live life with full lungs, to take risks, to fall, and to rise again.

When someone tries to stop those wings-whether out of fear, jealousy, or misplaced concern-they are not just stopping a movement; they are suffocating the very essence of the human soul. True support does not restrain; it provides the wind beneath our wings.

Even if the sky is stormy and a fall is certain, the desire to fly is worth more than standing safely on the ground. When we tell someone not to clip our wings, we are actually asking for the right to make mistakes, the right to fall, but above all, the right to rise.

To fly means to take risks, leave the comfort zone, and venture into the unknown, where boundaries fade and horizons expand.

Therefore, allow me to fly. Let me discover my own limits, feel the freedom of open space, and find my path among the stars. For whoever experiences the beauty of the heights just once can never be happy in a cage again.
