Empowering Elegance: Tacoma’s Fashion Shoot Celebrates Pageant Queens
A Celebration of Confidence, Leadership, and Community Impact Through Fashion and Empowerment
In Pierce County, a remarkable gathering took place—one that transcended the typical fashion shoot. Led by Lilia A’Hearn, principal photographer of Liliacreativity Photography and Productions, actress, model, and Mrs. Washington 2025 for Petites USA, the event became a powerful celebration of confidence, leadership, and meaningful community influence.
The creative collaboration brought together an exceptional team: photographer and Sage and Soul Photography owner Leah Vinton Browning; Shalom Aburu-Kiefer, former beauty queen and fashion designer of Aburu Fashion House; makeup artists Kay Matthews and Diana Korol; and filmmaker Matt McKinney. Together, they produced more than striking imagery—they created an atmosphere honoring pageant queens for their dedication, service, and positive impact within their communities.
This empowering experience also served as a special reward for the PNW Washington winners under the leadership of Narriana Silva, head of the PNW Pageant and Miss Washington North America 2024. The spotlight shone on Washington’s newest titleholders, Dannalyn and Blessing Beam, winners of Miss Christmas PNW, celebrating their grace, talent, and commitment to uplifting others.
The finished work from the shoot will be submitted to prominent fashion magazines and featured in a commercial highlighting the artistry of Liliacreativity Photography, further elevating both the collaboration and the accomplishments of the queens involved.
The event was enriched by the presence of influential guests, including Chrishenda Dawkins, Ms. Washington Globe and Tyler Perry Dream Collective Top 100 director, actress, and screenwriter; Michelle Anne, counselor and dance queen; and international beauty titleholder Joy Mwangi, Miss Supermodel Worldwide.
This meaningful collaboration demonstrated how fashion and leadership can unite to create lasting empowerment. More than a visual showcase, the experience served as a sincere tribute to the strength, passion, and community impact of each woman involved—an authentic celebration of uplifting women.
