Every New Idea Sounds Crazy at First
Leadership often begins the moment we move forward, even when we don’t have all the answers
Leadership often means moving forward while you’re still figuring things out—taking a step before the whole picture is clear.
Trying something new can feel uncomfortable. It can feel risky. And sometimes it feels lonely. But that discomfort is usually a sign that you’re stretching, learning, and becoming more than you were before.
Many of the ideas that truly made a difference began this way: questioned, misunderstood, and even doubted. What we call “crazy” is often just someone listening to a quiet nudge and choosing not to ignore it.
At JE Escapes, this is how we lead and how we build. We don’t pretend to have everything figured out. We lead with intention, learn as we go, and stay grounded in our values—especially when the path feels uncertain.
You don’t need all the answers to begin. You need the courage to start and the willingness to grow along the way.
So if there’s something new on your heart, something you’ve been putting off because it feels uncomfortable or uncertain, this is your reminder that it’s okay to try. It’s okay to learn. It’s okay to take one small step at a time.
Because real change doesn’t come from standing still. It comes from ordinary people choosing to move forward, even when it feels a little scary.
If there’s something new you’ve been afraid to try, let this be your moment to begin; one small step is enough.
