Fall has arrived
A colorful season of family, foliage, and fresh apple treats at Barber's Orchard.
Fall had arrived, and in the mountains, it came in loud and proud!
I had just returned from a week spent staying with my granddaughters while my daughter and son-in-law had to take a road trip. It was a much-needed pause to enjoy special time with my granddaughters and with my daughter and son-in-law when they returned! It’s always a fun time filled with lots of laughter. ❤️
I love fall in the mountains, for it is the time of year to gather the most available natural resources for basket weaving, including black walnuts and berries to stain reeds, grapevines for cutting, and different types of foliage!
Our favorite orchard had opened for its yearly busy season, which runs until the end of December. Apple cakes, apple cider donuts (my favorite!), apple fritters, apple turnovers, apple pies, apple cookies, and APPLES!
Barber’s Orchard is the greatest place EVER!
I just had two apple cider donuts! I brought Stewart his favorite apple turnover!
It was a much-needed pause to recharge, spend time with my family, and now get back to basket weaving. ❤️❤️❤️
