How a black Baptist preacher man saved my life
Listen to the words
“There are some people who watched you while you were in the hardest season of your life—and secretly hoped you wouldn’t make it. Watch this.
And you were praying the wrong prayer.
You wanted God to kill your enemies.
God said, No. I can’t kill your enemies. I’m keeping them alive.
WHY?!
He said, ‘I prepared a table… in the presence of your enemies.’
Watch this, New Birth.
He never said your enemy was going to eat.
He said, ‘I prepared a table so your enemy can watch you.’
God is preparing something amazing.”
Come on. Let’s go.
I love you, Pastor Jamal Bryant. Thank you.
Words have never rung more true for me—and for so many in my life—a thousand times over. Thank you. You are appreciated.
“I’ll never be able to repay you. Just know: you are appreciated.”
