I attribute my success to my parents, God, and the strong foundation I’ve built through hands-on experience in the mining and chemical industries. Growing up in a blue-collar family and embracing every opportunity to learn and explore has shaped my resilience and dedication.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to explore widely and take on diverse experiences early in my career. By trying different roles and industries, I discovered my passion for mining and analytical chemistry, which guided me to where I am today.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Always pay attention to practical financial management, stay curious, and seek hands-on experience. Build skills broadly, and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself in technical and leadership roles.

Some of the challenges include recruiting skilled professionals, maintaining operational safety, and ensuring environmental compliance. Opportunities exist in continuous improvement, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation in mining processes.
