Leadership Requires Humility
Remaining Humble In The Calling
In every season of growth, elevation, and visibility, humility must remain our foundation. As I continue to walk in my role with House of Rise & Pray, I am constantly reminded that this assignment is not about recognition—it is about obedience.
Humility keeps my heart aligned with God’s purpose. It reminds me that I am a vessel, not the source. Every prayer spoken, every word shared, and every life touched is by His grace—not my own strength. When we stay humble, we remain teachable, sensitive to His voice, and grounded in truth.
There will be moments when affirmation comes, doors open, and influence grows. In those moments, humility protects us. It keeps us from pride, comparison, and self-reliance. It allows us to serve purely, without the need for applause.
At House of Rise & Pray, humility is not weakness—it is strength under submission. It is choosing to bow before God daily, even when standing before others. It is understanding that the higher the calling, the deeper the surrender must be.
My prayer is simple:
“Lord, keep me humble, keep me pure, and keep me focused on You.”
Because in the end, it is not about being seen—it is about being faithful.
