True leadership is built on authenticity, empathy, and how you make others feel every single day.
I’ve learned over time that leadership isn’t really about titles or positions. It’s about how you treat people, how you show up, and how you make others feel—especially in moments that are stressful or uncertain.
Working in healthcare has shaped the way I see people and communication. I’ve seen firsthand how something as simple as language support or a calm conversation can completely change someone’s experience. When people feel understood, they feel safer. And that matters.
One thing I’ve come to value deeply is consistency—just showing up, doing your best, and treating people with respect even on hard days. I don’t think leadership has to be complicated. Sometimes it’s just listening without rushing someone or making sure a person feels seen and not overlooked.
I’ve also learned a lot from working with diverse communities. Every interaction reminds me that people carry different stories, different challenges, and different strengths. That has taught me to slow down, pay attention, and lead with empathy instead of assumptions.
Outside of work, I care deeply about uplifting women and being part of spaces where we encourage each other. There’s something powerful about women supporting women—not competing, but truly showing up for one another. Whether it’s through mentorship, community work, or simple conversations, those connections matter.
If I could share one message, it would be this: you don’t have to be perfect to lead. You just have to be real, consistent, and willing to care about people.
At the end of the day, the impact we leave behind isn’t just about what we accomplished—it’s about how we made people feel along the way.
