My Story: How I Did It- But faith is not about having all the answers—it’s about taking the step anyway.
Overcoming and Rebuilding-
At just 15 years old, my life took a path I never could have imagined. I became a mother while I was still a child myself. Not long after, I made the difficult decision to leave home. I didn’t have a roadmap. I didn’t have all the answers. But I had a responsibility—and a deep determination to create a better life.
I went on to marry and spent 21 years raising four beautiful children. My world revolved around them. Like many women, I poured everything I had into my family, often putting my own dreams on hold. Life wasn’t always easy, and there were moments when I questioned myself, my worth, and what my future could look like.
But something inside me never gave up.
When that chapter of my life ended, I found myself starting over. It was scary. It was uncertain. But it was also an opportunity. I made the decision to rebuild my life, no matter how long it would take.
I went back to school. I stepped into the unknown. I began building a career in healthcare—a field that allowed me to serve others while growing into the woman I was meant to be. It wasn’t easy balancing life, responsibilities, and education, but I kept going.
Along the way, I learned to listen—to that quiet voice inside me. To God’s voice.
After years of working in healthcare, I felt a calling placed on my heart. It didn’t make perfect sense at first, and I was afraid—afraid of failure, afraid of rejection, and afraid of stepping out on my own.
But faith is not about having all the answers—it’s about taking the step anyway.
So I did.
I took a leap of faith and created Saving Grace Senior Consulting—a business built not just on experience, but on compassion, purpose, and calling. I knew firsthand how overwhelming life transitions can be, and I wanted to be there for seniors and families navigating some of their most difficult decisions.
Today, I walk alongside families, helping them find care, guidance, and peace of mind. Every time I do, I am reminded why I started.
I am also blessed to have a husband who supports me, encourages me, and stands beside me every step of the way. His belief in me has been a gift, reinforcing what I’ve learned all along—that we are never meant to do life alone.
Most importantly, I became the woman my children could be proud of—not because I was perfect, but because I never gave up.
