The Story Isn’t Over

Losing my job was one of the hardest experiences of my career—not because I wasn't capable, not because I didn't give everything I had, but because it felt deeply unfair.

I've always been a high-energy, positive, mission-driven employee. I showed up every day ready to support my team, my stakeholders, and the organization. I fought through uncertainty, carried heavy workloads, and stayed committed even when the environment didn't give me the opportunity to truly succeed.

What has stayed with me most is the support I received from the people who actually knew my work—the senior director who mentored me, the stakeholders who trusted me, the colleagues who recognized my leadership, and the analysts I coached and developed.

They knew my value. They knew I deserved better. They knew I was the senior lead across multiple applications—the person people turned to for guidance, clarity, and support.

I mentored new and junior analysts, helped them grow, and made sure they never felt alone. I led projects, resolved escalations, and carried responsibilities far beyond my title. I poured myself into the mission, the work, and the people.

And even though the ending wasn't fair, the story isn't over.

What I've learned is this:

You can be exceptional, dedicated, and full of integrity—and still face situations that don't reflect your worth. But your worth doesn't disappear. Your talent doesn't disappear. Your impact doesn't disappear. The people who saw your leadership don't forget it.

I'm choosing to move forward with strength, clarity, and purpose. I'm choosing to honor the work I did, the people I helped, and the leader I became. I'm choosing to believe that the next chapter will be one where my skills, my energy, and my heart are valued the way they deserve to be.

This experience didn't break me.

It revealed me.

And I'm stepping into what's next with confidence.
