The Road of Becoming Lyni
From Faith and Discipline to a Path in Federal Justice: My Journey of Resilience and Purpose
I didn't arrive here by accident. Every step of my journey has been shaped by faith, discipline, and a deep desire to turn my experiences into something meaningful for others.
With time and a little polishing, I have become a woman with the mindset of, "If I want it, then it's already mine."
A part of me has always known that I wanted to be involved in the justice system. It took some time, along with a bit of trial and error, to decide which side of it I wanted to be on—the field, the courtroom, or both. That is how I realized that becoming a federal prosecutor would be the best path for me.
I am currently working toward completing my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who has chosen to believe in me throughout this journey, but most of all, I am grateful to myself. If I had not been the resilient woman who refused to let her circumstances change her mind about who she is and where she is meant to be, I would not be where I am today.
Once again, thank you for this amazing opportunity. I am incredibly grateful.
